Press release date: April 11, 2012

HARTING has extended its Ha-VIS mCon 3000 range, making a sensible addition to its Ethernet switch offering. The series makes it possible to build a convergent and manageable network. The extended temperature range, mechanical stability and comprehensive management software all make for a high level of operating reliability and meet the toughest industrial demands. In addition to RSTP, the new switches also offer Medium Redundancy Protocol (MRP). By integrating the PROFINET IO stack, next generation Ha-VIS mCon 3000 switches can be used as a PROFINET IO device.
