Boyne City, MI - Industrial Magnetics' Manhole Cover Lift product line allows manhole covers to be moved and replaced quickly, safely and magnetically by one person. The patent-pending lift system reduces injuries and disabilities over the traditional method of manually prying and lifting heavy covers.
Utilizing powerful, rare earth PowerLift® magnets in combination with a hand-held lift dolly, the Magnetic Manhole Cover Lift system performs the heavy lifting work, thereby minimizing stress & strain on the back and body and providing excellent protection against slipping and falling, especially in rainy, snowy or icy conditions.
The lift system can move up to a 400lb., heavily textured manhole cover and can also be used on square & rectangular grates. The dolly is available in three different wheel diameter configurations and features an adjustable four-position hook, a four-length, retractable handle, three angle positions of 90°, 105° and 120° and is collapsible for storage.
