December 17, 2007 - Fond du Lac, WI USA, MachineMate, Inc. announces that
Nyles Priest, President & CEO will retire from MachineMate, Inc. at the end of 2007. Nyles Priest was instrumental in establishing MachineMate, Inc. as a company when Giddings & Lewis sold the trademark rights to the company on September 1, 2000 and has been with the company since the beginning. Mr. Hans Platt, Vice President of Sales at MachineMate, Inc. will fill this position starting January 1, 2008.
Mr. Platt has been the Vice President of Sales at MachineMate, Inc. since July 1, 2007. Mr. Platt has more then 20 years of CNC machine tool experience before coming to MachineMate, Inc. Mr. Platt is well suited to take over the control of MachineMate, Inc.
MachineMate has become a CNC of choice in the cutting machine market since their PC-Based CNCs provide the increased proven functionality required for the cutting machine market. Waterjet, Plasma, Laser, Welding, Routers are some of the cutting machines that use MachineMate CNCs. Besides cutting machines MachineMate continues to provide superior CNCs for the standard machine tool lathe and machining center markets.
