Press release date: July 28, 2006

Cincinnati Ohio, July 2006 - Milacron Global Industrial Fluids announces the expansion of its Oak Signature® Product line. An industry leader in providing innovative solutions to maximize metalworking productivity, the Oak Signature Product Line expansion includes the latest breakthroughs in fluid technology. Along with superior customer support, Oak Signature now offers a more complete line of metalworking fluids for metal removal and forming operations. The Oak Signature Oakflo® High-Performance Synthetic, Semi-Synthetic and Soluble Oil Metalworking Fluids have already increased productivity in the metalworking industry.

A manufacturer of finished, centrifugal-spun castings implemented OAKFLO® 4800, a synthetic metalworking fluid, in their facility, and achieved tremendous results. The performance results included lower use-dilution, lower fluid consumption, 10% increase in tool life, and a 40% reduction in machining time to produce the finished part. Overall production increased by more than 110%, with a 53% reduction in labor cost. Additionally, using OAKFLO® 4800, the customer found the product to run cleaner and it eliminated a flash-rust problem experienced when they used a competitive fluid.

"The new product technology coming from our laboratories surpasses all traditional applications. This metalworking fluid expertise literally has created a new opportunity for us to expand the Oak Signature fluids line, and offer our customers the most comprehensive technology solutions available," states Kevin Tucker, Global Marketing Manager for Milacron.

In addition to the Oakflo® metal removal products, Milacron has also expanded other products in the Oak Signature family, including OAKWASH® Cleaners, OAKTEC® Corrosion Inhibitors, OAKFORM® Forming Fluids, and OAKSPEC® Specialty Products.
