Basking Ridge, NJ - July 13, 2011 - (Shanghai) Semiconductor Manufacturing International Corporation (SMIC), one of the leading semiconductor foundries in the world and the largest and most advanced foundry in Mainland China has named MATHESON its Total Gas and Chemical Management (TGCM) provider for its Shanghai fabrication facility. Building on the exceptional reputation MATHESON has earned as a safe, reliable and cost efficient provider of gas and chemical management services in China, MATHESON will be responsible for inventory, delivery and hook up of the facility's process gases and chemicals as well as overseeing the operation and maintenance of the facility's gas and chemical delivery systems.
