Basking Ridge, NJ - June 23, 2011 - Ashok Mathur has joined MATHESON, as Director of Corporate Commercialization for the Corporate Marketing Group based in Montgomeryville, PA. In this role, Mathur will focus on industrial gas application development and new products and services to our customers in the clean energy, environmental and emerging technologies/markets.

Ashok brings more than 25 years of experience in industrial gases including gas applications, commercial development and business management. He spent most of his career as a Business Manager for Air Products & Chemicals, Inc., and most recently held the position of Chief Technology Officer for Purigen, Inc.

According to Rick Kowey, Executive Vice President & Chief Marketing Officer, "Ashok's first point of emphasis will be a variety of renewable energy applications, and we are confident that his exemplary networking skills coupled with his substantial technical knowledge in the field of industrial gases will advance our worldwide presence in these segments."

Mr. Mathur is a Professional Engineer, and is an active member in the American Institute of Chemical Engineers. He holds a BS degree in Chemical Engineering from IIT, New Delhi.

He lives with his wife and two children in Allentown, PA. In his free time, Ashok enjoys playing golf and tennis.
