KEENE, N.H. (October 26, 2006) - MARKEM Corporation, a trusted world leader in product identification and traceability solutions, announced today that it has been awarded SAP® interface certification for the CoLOS(TM) Exchange(TM) interface, providing peace of mind for manufacturers who need dependable connections between SAP and the factory floor.
The CoLOS Exchange interface will connect the SAP® Auto-ID Infrastructure (AII) to MARKEM CoLOS(TM) software and the MARKEM 800 Series High Speed RFID Applicator, applying enterprise data to packaging and reporting plant floor events to SAP for enterprise RFID applications.

Using the CoLOS Exchange interface, SAP AII customers now have access to easier production line RFID tagging. The 800 Series High Speed RFID Applicator is built for production lines and can tag in excess of 100 cases per minute, keeping up with the most demanding factory environments.
