Garrison is a member of Textron's Transformation Leadership Team, comprised of the top 20 executives of the corporation. Also elected was James M. Papada III, Chairman and CEO of Technitrol, Inc.

John L. Garrison, Jr. is President, Industrial Segment, Textron, Inc., with headquarters in Providence, RI. Textron's industrial segment is comprised of five businesses that manufacture and market branded industrial products worldwide: E-Z-GO, Jacobsen, Greenlee, Kautex, and Fluid & Power. Garrison is a member of Textron's Transformation Leadership Team, comprised of the top 20 executives of the corporation.
James M. Papada III is Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Technitrol, Inc. Technitrol, with headquarters in Trevose, PA, is a worldwide producer of electronic components, electrical contacts and assemblies and other precision-engineered parts and materials for manufacturers in the wireless and wireline communications, hearing, medical, military/aerospace, automotive, and electrical equipment industries.
