This innovative spooling technique optimizes the adhesive application manufacturing process, improves both assembly and overall product performance. M&C's high-tech spooling capability allows it to level wind high-quality adhesive tapes onto a wide, traverse-wound roll, replacing multiple smaller rolls with one single spool. As a result, production rates increase as fewer line stoppages for changing tape rolls occur, process waste is decreased by eliminating the frequent short ends inherent to using standard rolls, and material usage yield increases.
M&C is able to take on small minimum orders up to large production runs and offer a variety of unique custom conversion services that can be packaged on spooled rolls such as: narrow web precision slitting of closure tapes; lamination of tapes to various films and substrates; application of dry/finger lift edges; and custom printed release liners.
