Heavy Duty lockers were recently installed in the corridors of the new combined High School and Junior High School in Evansville, Indiana. The North complex is part of the Evansville Vanderburgh School Corporation (combined city/county schools). The state-of-the-art advanced school includes a two-story library & auditorium, soccer, baseball and softball fields, along with an outdoor sports stadium. The corridor lockers included the very important Lyon Single Point Latch System. The single point system eliminates the conventional moving parts of locker latch systems.
The sports locker room was also completed with Lyon Heavy Duty All-Welded Ventilated lockers. Lyon Lockers are solidly built to deliver years and years of trouble-free service. Lyon's welded construction adds strength and rigidity for longer life. 18-gauge reinforcing panels are welded to 14 gauge door facings.
This project also included Lyon 8000 Series Shelving in their bookstore, storage areas and the custodial room. The architectural firm was VPS Architecture from Evansville, Indiana.
