Scott, LA. –Â Louisiana Plating and Coatings, a division of Houston Plating and Coatings, began operations in mid-2013 at its newly constructed, first class, 80,000+ sq. ft. facility in Scott, Louisiana. They provide area manufacturers with a variety of corrosion protection services, including electroless nickel plating (EN), salt bath nitriding/QPQ (SBN/QPQ), phosphate, and spray coatings. Members of the WRC must meet or exceed certain criteria set by Whitford before their inclusion, such as knowledge of and experience in applying Whitford coatings, a solid quality assurance program and attendance at one of Whitford’s biannual training sessions.
