Cuyahoga Falls, OH (October, 2006) - Ultra Tech Machinery, Inc., a leading designer and manufacturer of metal forming and machining equipment, today announced that Loren (Larry) Foster has been appointed to the position of Senior Design & Process Engineer.

In his new position, Foster is responsible for systems design including tooling, hydraulics and pneumatics. Foster will be working with customers, after the sale, in the role of process engineer overseeing all aspects of the project. Foster brings to Ultra Tech more than 35 years engineering experience in the manufacturing environment of which the last 16 years were specifically rotary transfer machine design. Drawing on this experience, Foster will assist Ultra Tech in developing their next generation of machine tools.

Foster holds a Bachelors of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from Washington University, St. Louis, MO; Associate of Arts, Engineering Science, St. Louis Community College and Associate of Science, Electronics Technology, United States Air Force Academy.
