USA

Press release date: February 22, 2007

ST. LOUIS - Logistics Management Solutions (LMS), a non-asset-based third party logistics provider, today announced the opening of its Southeast Regional office, located in Florence, S.C. The new office is the second branch LMS has opened this year; last month the company opened its Southwest Regional office in Rockwall, Texas.

The office serves as LMS' regional headquarters for the Southeast and was established to provide transportation management services and technologies to area manufacturers, retailers and wholesalers.

"LMS has had a presence in the Florence area for the past two years," says Dennis Schoemehl, president and CEO of LMS. He explained that LMS maintains an onsite transportation management operation at the Hartsville, S.C., headquarters of Hilex Poly Co., an LMS client that manufactures plastic bag and film products.

"This presence has given us the opportunity to be a part of the region's business landscape and experience what the area has to offer," Schoemehl says. "We are confident this new location will complement our existing operations and lead to additional opportunities for growth."

Schoemehl says this is one of several offices LMS hopes to open in strategic markets throughout the United States. The company's physical expansion is a byproduct of its exceptional growth.

In 2006 Inc. magazine named LMS as one of the nation's 500 fastest-growing private companies, citing a three-year growth of 322 percent. For the past five years, the St. Louis Business Journal has ranked LMS as one of St. Louis' fastest-growing private companies. Established in 1996, LMS projects 2007 sales of $86 million and manages an annual freight spend of more than $500,000 on behalf of its clients, which include companies such as BASF, Monsanto and The Scotts Company.

LMS' Southeast Regional office address is 181 E. Evans Street, Suite 312, Florence, S.C., 29506. The phone number is (800) 355-2153.

Headquartered in St. Louis, LMS is a non-asset-based, third party logistics provider that brings millions of dollars in transportation cost savings to some of the world's best-known companies. We combine Web-enabled technology with proven logistics practices to offer optimization, execution and data management services that maximize our clients' supply chain operations.
