On-Site Adhesive Seminar Program Trains 2000th Medical Engineer

Rocky Hill, Conn. - May 30, 2006... For the past six years, engineers and technical representatives from Henkel Corporation have traveled to customer facilities around the world to conduct private, on-site medical adhesive training programs for manufacturing, product, and design engineers producing today's groundbreaking medical devices. Henkel's unique educational program achieved a significant milestone this week by enrolling and training its 2000th medical design engineer.

The Medical On-Site Technology Seminars were developed to provide Henkel customer companies with in-depth information on available adhesive technologies and capabilities for medical device bonding and assembly. From a list of 11 key topics, participating engineers may customize their seminar to be of direct relevance to their design and manufacturing challenges. Seminar topics include biocompatibility testing, sterilization resistance, matching substrates and adhesives, latest adhesive technologies, light cure adhesives and equipment, instant adhesives, joint design, and other topics.
