Fitchburg, MA, 01420 6094
USA

Press release date: February 2, 2007

Lock Inspection Systems, a leading manufacturer of metal detectors and checkweighers for the beverage, food, and pharmaceutical industries, has improved its MET30+ pipeline metal detector. It now offers even greater sensitivity that offers unparalleled accuracy in detecting tiny particles of even the most challenging metal contaminants such as stainless steel wire. This sensitivity can be relied upon for protection of a wide variety of products at ambient, chilled, or high temperatures across a broad range of flow-rates, and for all industry-standard pipe sizes.

It is robustly designed and capable of withstanding the industry's most aggressive environments. It can also withstand aggressive cleaning and the detector is sealed to NEMA 4X (IP66). Like Lock's other metal detectors, the pipeline offers user-friendly operation and Lock's Datachek software can be used with the pipeline to offer networking capability. It is available in industry range of pipe diameters and industry-standard reject valves. Other features include auto-learn and automatic product-tracking features. The pipeline in addition offers a broad range of flow-rates for industry standard pipe sizes.

Editor's Note: Based in Fitchburg, Massachusetts, and Oldham, UK, Lock Inspection Systems supplies metal detection and checkweighing equipment to beverage, food, and pharmaceutical manufacturers worldwide. A global network of offices and distributors enables Lock to deliver the highest standards of customer service and after sales care.
