Press release date: August 1, 2009

CHICAGO, Illinois, August 1, 2009 - Littelfuse (NASDAQ: LFUS) has spun off its ISIS Intelligent Multiplex System line by selling the assets of the product line to Infinitybox LLC, a small investor group led by a former Littelfuse business development director. Littelfuse will continue to market these products under a private label agreement with Infinitybox.

"The ISIS Multiplex System product line was not aligned with our core offerings of circuit protection products or our strategic customer segments, so we've made the decision to spin it off to Infinitybox who will continue investing in the technology and expanding the product range," said Dieter Roeder, Vice President and General Manager, Littelfuse Automotive Business Unit. "We will continue to offer ISIS multiplexing technology through our non-consumer channels, where it complements our existing automotive fuse business and OEM customer relationships."

Introduced in 2008, the ISIS Power product line is based around the ISIS Intelligent Multiplex System, a multiplexed wiring harness that reduces weight and cuts installation time in half for automotive enthusiasts, professional auto builders, and OEMs making cars, trucks, buses, and off-road vehicles.

About Littelfuse As the worldwide leader in circuit protection products and solutions with annual sales of $531 million in 2008, the Littelfuse portfolio is backed by industry leading technical support, design and manufacturing expertise.
