Linde, LLC
575 Mountain Ave.
Murray Hill, NJ, 07974
USA

Press release date: July 20, 2012

Murray Hill & New Providence, New Jersey, U.S.- Linde North America's solution for using liquefied natural gas (LNG) to fuel engines and power generators is being tested in West Virginia by EQT Corporation, an energy company focused on natural gas production, transmission and distribution.

"We are pleased to be working with EQT to demonstrate the safe, reliable and cost-effective use of LNG in dual-fuel rig applications," said Bryan Luftglass, head of Strategic Market and Business Development for Linde Energy Solutions. "The execution of this field deployment has gone well and continues to validate the promise of a more cost-effective and environmentally friendly fuel."

David Ross, Director of Business Development for EQT Corporation, said, "We chose Linde as a partner for our pilot program because of its excellent safety record and long-standing expertise in the industrial gas business."

Looking ahead at the market demand for such a solution, Linde North America's Energy Solutions unit has developed a joint marketing agreement with American Power Group (APG). Under the agreement, Linde provides expertise in the supply, production, logistics and on-site application of LNG and other cryogens. APG provides a patented dual-fuel technology that converts diesel engines to run on an average of 40 to 60 percent natural gas.

"The beauty of partnering with APG is that together we provide a complete solution," said Michelle Vargo, Linde North America's LNG Technology & Market Development manager. "APG can convert diesel engines ahead of their deployment and we provide the fuel, using modular and portable fueling equipment, so everything can be quickly moved by truck as rigs are redeployed."

About GreenMan Technologies and American Power Group

GreenMan's alternative energy subsidiary, American Power Group, Inc., provides a cost-effective patented Turbocharged Natural Gas(TM) conversion technology for aftermarket vehicular and stationary diesel engines and diesel generators. American Power Group's dual fuel technology is a unique non-invasive energy enhancement system that converts existing diesel engines into more efficient and environmentally friendly engines that have the flexibility to run on: (1) diesel fuel and liquefied natural gas; (2) diesel fuel and compressed natural gas; (3) diesel fuel and pipeline or filtered well-head gas; and (4) diesel fuel and bio-methane, with the flexibility to return to 100% diesel fuel operation at any time. The proprietary technology seamlessly displaces up to 80% of the normal diesel fuel consumption with the average displacement ranging from 40% to 65%. The energized fuel balance is maintained with a proprietary read-only electronic controller system ensuring the engines operate at original equipment manufacturers' specified temperatures and pressures. Installation on a wide variety of engine models and end-market applications require no engine modifications unlike the more expensive invasive fuel-injected systems in the market.
