Lincoln Electric's VRTEX® Mobile Achieves 3rd Party Safety and Performance Certification from CSA

Mobile unit receives Canadian Standards Association certification

Cleveland – Lincoln Electric announces that the VRTEX® Mobile, the smaller, portable addition to the line of VRTEX® virtual reality arc welding training products, achieved CSA certification for USA and Canada in early 2013. The CSA (Canadian Standards Association) Group is an independent, not-for-profit membership association dedicated to safety, social good and sustainability, serving a variety of industries internationally.

To become CSA certified, products undergo a rigorous examination process, including testing and follow-up, to ensure that they comply with national and international standards for safety and performance. If they meet the standards, products display the certification mark, providing an easy way for consumers to ensure they're selecting high-quality products.

"Lincoln Electric prides itself on providing high quality, safe and innovative products for our customers," said Deanna Postlethwaite, Business Unit Manager for Lincoln Electric Virtual Welding Training. "We are very pleased that CSA Group has recognized VRTEX® Mobile as a CSA-certified product."
