LightCyber Magna Expands Its Advanced Breach Detection to Mitigate and Contain Attacks Using Industry-leading Check Point Firewall Software Blade

NEW YORK – LightCyber [, a leading provider of advanced breach detection solutions, and Check Point® Software Technologies Ltd., [, the worldwide leader in securing the Internet, today announced a partnership to integrate the LightCyber Magna Breach Detection solution with Check Point Firewall Software Blade.

Creative and persistent attackers are continuously looking for new attack vectors to exploit. Often they seek to compromise individual endpoints, which once infected can be converted into bases from which to launch more extensive attacks across an organization's network. If breached, a compromised system can be remotely directed for malicious purposes by cyber criminals.

By integrating LightCyber Magna with Check Point Firewall Software Blade, joint enterprise customers will receive two key benefits: 1) attacks are stopped early in their lifecycle, by isolating breached computers and terminating active Command & Control (C&C) channels, and 2) real-time protections are rapidly deployed to block access to identified C&C sites.

"Check Point is committed to providing industry-leading security protection for our global customers, and our integration with LightCyber reinforces that promise," said Alon Kantor, vice president of business development at Check Point Software Technologies. "Check Point and LightCyber's partnership will offer our joint customers early breach detection, immediate response and advanced security protection."

"Integrating Check Point with LightCyber Magna extends real-time remediation and gives enterprises unparalleled levels of actionability, which translates into real-time protection," said Gonen Fink, chief executive officer of LightCyber. "Enterprise networks are under siege and are in need of hermetic protection against today's targeted attacks. By integrating best-of-class technology products, LightCyber and Check Point are helping enterprises remediate attacks and limit both short-term and long-term damage to sensitive data on the endpoint."

LightCyber and Check Point's joint solution is available immediately.
