Lifting Gear Hire Corporation has added a new position to its team of equipment safety experts. Izzy De Jesus has been named the company's new National Director of Safety and Training. De Jesus previously served as the company's Inside Project Coordinator for power plant work. In this new role, he will now handle health and safety issues both internally and externally. His responsibilities include continually modifying the company's safety programs to include the most urgent safety trends. Other job functions include internal safety training, customer safety and rigging training, and safety coordination on the road as related to the company's fleet of trucks.
"I am in a unique position here at Lifting Gear Hire Corporation. My role is one that gives me a true sense of accomplishment and meaning," said De Jesus. "I have always made it a point to help as many people as I can every day of my life, and now I get to do it for a living! I can honestly say that I wake up every morning excited to get to my job and see how I can make work a bit safer for those out there in the shops and field!"
