This unit sets new standards in accuracy, data transparency, handling and design. The AMS 200 also offers a diagnostic system that transmits a prefailure message at the earliest sign of problems, thereby helping to prevent or at least reduce lengthy downtime. The accuracy is +/- 3 mm over 200 meters. By combining laser technology with the most modern signal processors, the user receives an image of the actual values which can be used for positioning control circuits. Interfaces for Profibus and SSI are included as standard, interface for power, programmable I/O and control functions are via M12 connectors accessible from the front. Also a heated version is available for refrigerated warehouse applications which can operate in temperatures as low as -30 C.
