Press release date: October 17, 2006

SUNNYVALE, Calif., Oct. 17 -- Leadis Technology, Inc. (NASDAQ:LDIS), a leading mixed-signal semiconductor developer of color display driver ICs for small panel displays, today announced production volume shipments of the LDS331, a 262K color LTPS driver IC with integrated controller supporting 132 (RGB) x 162, 128 (RGB) x 160, and 130 (RGB) x 130 display resolutions. Featuring four gamma curves, temperature compensation, and an enhanced voltage boost and Vcom generation architecture, the LDS331 provides rich, dynamic color images at low power levels across handset operating conditions. The device supports 3:1 source multiplexing for reduced pin count and efficient utilization of source output drivers. Programmable advanced display options such as partial display mode, area scrolling, and line and frame inversion are also included.

"LTPS-based display modules continue to grow their relative share versus other technologies within the mobile handset market," said Kevin Plouse, Vice President of Marketing. "The LDS331 supports our customers' QQVGA LTPS requirements with a compelling combination of flexible resolution support, low power consumption, and rich accurate color."

About the LDS331
