Leading Manufacturers Establish Relationships with Top-Quality Suppliers at Sourcing Solutions(TM)

PMA and Fabricating.com create a powerful in-person sourcing event

CLEVELAND, OH--Honda Aircraft Company, Navistar, Nissin Brake, Whirlpool and other leading manufacturers established powerful business connections with more than 30 top-quality contract suppliers at the Sourcing Solutions™ event, September 18, 2013, in Cincinnati, OH.

In support of American manufacturing, Precision Metalforming Association (PMA) and Fabricating.com collaborated to create this unique in-person sourcing event to introduce major buyers of custom manufacturing parts to the most competitive, pre-screened, qualified U.S.-based suppliers.

“Putting customers and suppliers together in this setup worked out fantastically,” said Laurette Wilson of PanelClaw, North Andover, MA, a supplier of photovoltaic mounting systems for flat roof and ground mount applications. “We were able to forge a number of new prospects to help us develop a strong supplier base.”

Suppliers met with qualified buyers of contract manufacturing products and services in one location, saving them valuable time and the expense of months of travel. “The Sourcing Solutions event was a great experience,” said Samuel Ibrahim, Helander Metal Spinning, Lombard, IL. “The ‘reverse’ trade show concept was very effective and efficient. The day I returned to my office there was an RFQ waiting from a contact I made at the conference.”

“PMA was excited to provide the Sourcing Solutions event to connect our members with potential new customers,” said PMA Member Services Director Allison Grealis. “The program is an extension of our member services offerings, which are designed to assist member companies in growing and diversifying their businesses.”

“We’re all about reshoring and personal contact, both online and in-person,” said Frank Russo, Fabricating.com’s CEO. “Sourcing Solutions™ was a natural continuation of our core business -- facilitating connections between American Buyers and Suppliers. We were pleased to collaborate on this event and to offer manufacturers a way to stay connected and manage their relationships via Fabricating.com.”
