Lauren Manufacturing Tooling Liaison
NEW PHILADELPHIA, Ohio — Lauren Manufacturing, a full-service provider of standard and custom extruded and molded sealing-solutions, has appointed Tim Waltz to the position of Tooling Liaison.
Under the supervision of Doug Sisson, Product Development Engineer, Waltz will focus on designing and developing new toolings. Waltz will work directly with production and RD staff to prove out die design and compound requirements. This position will oversee the implementation of the tooling into production, ensure that the process is stable and repeatable and will work to correct any production issues related to die design.Â
Prior to accepting his position at Lauren Manufacturing, Waltz was employed for three years at Meteor Sealing Systems as a Die Designer. He graduated from Perry High School and later earned an associate’s degree in design engineering from Stark State College. Waltz currently resides in Canton with his wife Sara.
