December 28, 2007, Depew, NY, USA - The Larson Davis division of PCB Piezotronics, an industry leader in innovative noise and vibration exposure instrumentation and software for Industrial Hygiene & Safety, has announced an exclusive worldwide distribution agreement for the products and services of renowned hearing conversation pioneers Bertrand-Johnson Acoustics (BJA) of Montreal, Quebec, Canada.
Products developed by BJA, to be sold under the Larson Davis product umbrella, include CORTI(TM) and HPD Select© Software for audiometric trend analysis and hearing conversation program (HCP) qualifications, which provide Safety and Health Managers with predictive analysis tools and regulatory recordkeeping for management of company-wide HCP's and proper selection of appropriate Hearing Protection Devices (HPD's) to meet various regulatory standards.
Founded in 1998 through the collaboration of Dr. Robert Bertrand and the late Daniel Johnson, Ph.D, experts at BJA pioneered the application of advanced statistical analysis techniques to hearing conservation, with the goal of forever eliminating Occupational Noise Induced Hearing Loss (ONIHL).
