Niles, IL – As part of quality control in the manufacturing and use of pressurized cans for products such as shaving cream, deodorant, insecticides, spray paint, and other pressurized aerosols, the cans must be tested for durability to ensure that they don’t explode or otherwise fail when exposed to temperature extremes during shipping and storage. The PolyScience 75-liter Refrigerating/Heating Circulator speeds and simplifies the burst testing process, eliminating the inaccuracy, expense, and time associated with manual can immersion in barrels of boiling and ice water.

With a working temperature range of -20 to +100C (-4 to 212F) and a programmable touch-screen controller with extensive thermal cycling capabilities, the PolyScience 75-liter Circulator semi-automates the burst testing process. The pressurized cans are simply loaded in the bath and the appropriate thermal cycling program initiated. The bath temperature is ramped up and down automatically and high/low temperature cycles can even be repeated without operator intervention.

The PolyScience 75-Liter Circulator features a working access of 54.9 x 39.8 x 23.9 cm (21.6 x 15.7 x 9.4 inches), allowing the simultaneous testing of multiple pressurized cans. The unit also boasts a swiveling control head that permits viewing of the temperature display anywhere within a 180 viewing radius and a corrosion and chemical resistant top plate that dampens noise and remains cooler at high temperatures.
