Large chucks clamp fast, grip tight and remove easily.
(Nashua, NH) - Large air adapter chucks from NimCor are designed to handle the largest cores without investing in new core shafts. Single and dual chucks are readily available to fit 8-, 10- or 12-inch diameter cores. Special sizes of 16 or 20 inches are also common. Large air adapter chucks are ideal for fast clamping to bars, spindles or conventional shafts. A rugged, pneumatic bladder offers high-torque grip up to 37,500 inch pounds when inflated without wear or damage to cores. Bladder material is available in a variety of durometers based on the customer's application. Dual chucks employ a shared air supply through a quick interconnect air hose. Clamping collars are available in both aluminum and steel. Core-stop flanges are also available. Chucks remove easily without damage to core ends.
