Company to Showcase Quick Connect System for Locomotives
 
St. Louis, Missouri, USA - Laird Technologies, Inc., a global leader in the design and supply of customized performance-critical components and systems for advanced electronics and wireless products, today announced it will attend GEAPS Exchange 2013. The event will take place at the Kentucky International Convention Center in Louisville, Kentucky, February 23-26, 2013. Laird Technologies will exhibit at booth #710.

Laird Technologies will showcase its QC RCL system for locomotives. The QC (Quick Connect) system is portable and can be moved from locomotive to locomotive quickly. It also features talkback, allowing for data to be sent from the locomotive to the operator’s handheld unit. As with all Laird Technologies Wireless Automation and Control Solutions (WACS), the QC system provides safety, increases productivity while also offering reliability. As part of the Laird Wireless Systems (LWS) division, the WACS group focuses on delivering solutions for full wireless systems capability.

GEAPS Exchange 2013 allows us to showcase these capabilities while also networking with current and future customers.”

This year’s GEAPS Exchange is the 84th annual technical conference and exposition for the Grain Elevator and Processing Society. The Expo hall will feature a record-breaking number of companies showcasing products, equipment and services designed specifically for the grain industry. The program will also feature workshops, educational sessions and networking opportunities.
