System Searches Distributor Inventory for Antenna Products
St. Louis, Missouri, USA - January 8, 2010 - Laird Technologies, Inc., a global leader in the design and manufacture of customized, performance-critical components for wireless systems and other advanced electronics applications, today announced the launch of its new online antenna stock locator system.
The online stock locator provides Laird Technologies' customers an electronic platform to directly access qualified distributors and their available inventory through the Lairdtech.com Website. Bruce Juhl, Laird Technologies Director of Distribution believes the locator is a plus from a customer perspective.
"Especially when customers are in the critical stages of the vendor and part selection process, we believe the visibility of this information will substantially enhance the Laird Technologies IAS customer experience," said Juhl.
Laird Technologies' online users now have a single destination to search the antenna inventory of several select distributors at the same time. The system can identify all Laird Technologies IAS products, which includes Land Mobile Radio - LMR (Portable, Vehicular, Base Station), Broadband Wireless Access - BWA (Wimax, WISP and Cellular), Wireless LAN - WLAN, and Radio Frequency Identification - RFID applications based on partial or entire part numbers, as well as by global region of availability. These indicators make it simple and easy for users to pinpoint which distributor can best fit their needs.
