LabAutomation2009 attracts approximately 5,000 participants from at least 45 countries. In conjunction with the world-class educational program, participants also take part in the exhibition featuring more than 250 multi-national companies exhibiting the latest in technology and laboratory automation services. Last year's exhibition was highlighted by more than 50 new product launches.

LabAutomation2009 also features an outstanding Plenary Speaker Series:

Leading the five-day event is Klavs F. Jensen, Ph.D., Warren K. Lewis Professor and Head of the Chemical Department at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT). Jensen is the co-author of more than 450 published articles and the recipient of numerous prestigious scientific awards. LabAutomation2009 attendees will have the opportunity to hear Jensen's presentation at 9 a.m., Monday, January 26, 2009.

Joining Jensen as part of the plenary platform is Boston Scientifics' Co-Founder and FIRST (For Inspiration and Recognition of Science and Technology) chairman John Abele.
