The LSP-Series lid stay is another one of Sugatsune's unique products that was introduced to the US market. The lid stay is made up of 304-stainless steel in the body and a locking knob that is made out of ABS plastic. The LSP-Series lid stay is non-handed and mechanically locks when the lid is fully opened. In order to release the lock or to retract the lid you can simply pull the locking knob located on the side of the lid stay. It is ideal for vibration or shock applications and only one lid stay is required which holds up to 66 lbs each.
