Additionally to the BTS LIMO developed a compact version. This has the advantage of smaller size, without restriction of the optical properties, and increased cost-effectiveness. Now the standard product portfolio of compact BTS was expanded for common wave length ranges: 600 nm until 1,600 nm.
This beam transformation optic is used for collimation and beam shaping of diode bars. It enables shaping of extremely asymmetrical emitted light of the bars into symmetrical beam profiles. Thus enhances a highly efficient fiber coupling.
