Eching, October 11, 2005. Ulrich Gehrmann (47) has been member of the Management Board of Kontron AG since 2000 with operational responsibility for EMEA. Now Mr. Gehrmann has been promoted to Vice Chairman of Kontron AG. Effective October 11, 2005 Mr. Gehrmann will be responsible as CFO for finance.
"Ulrich Gehrmann does an excellent job for Kontron since years. We are proud that the Supervisory Board appreciates his engagement in this way," as Hannes Niederhauser, Chairman of the Management Board, explained. Mr. Gehrmann takes over finance from Charles Newcomb. Kontron's plans to consider an ADR listing changed diminishing the role of Charles Newcomb who leaves the company for personal reasons after many years of successful contributions.
