Press release date: February 27, 2014

RAMSEY, N.J. – Konica Minolta Sensing Americas, provider of advanced optical technology that precisely measures the elements of color and light, announced today that it will host a live, complimentary webinar entitled "Light Measurement Solutions for the Automotive and Transportation Industry." The one hour webinar will offer expert advice from Randy Klimek, Northeast Regional Sales Manager at Konica Minolta Sensing Americas, and will feature sophisticated measurement instrumentation for RD and manufacturing, including Instrument Systems LumiCam 1300 imaging photometer and colorimeter.

Today, nearly all lighting applications are transitioning to LEDs. This technology delivers many advantages in performance, however with new technology comes new obstacles in measurement and standardization. "As expert providers of light measurement solutions from Konica Minolta and Instrument Systems, major companies in the automobile and aviation industries rely on our measurement systems for testing illumination components and displays. We are excited to be able to share our insight on the latest technology and measurement techniques in this new webinar," stated Randy Klimek.

Moderated by Mark Lyon, Midwest Regional Sales Manager for Radiometric Products at Konica Minolta Sensing, the webinar will take place March 18, 2014 from 2:00 p.m. - 3:00 p.m. eastern standard time and will include a presentation followed by a question-and-answer session.
