Bloomington, IN - February 13, 2009 - Chris Koch has been appointed President of Carlisle Industrial Brake & Friction. Koch joined Carlisle in 2008 as President of Carlisle Asia Pacific. Previously Koch held roles as both regional and divisional Vice President at Graco, Inc., a global manufacturer of fluid handling systems, headquartered in Minneapolis, Minnesota.
In his role as President of Carlisle Industrial Brake and Friction, Koch will focus on global sales growth, new product development, entering new markets and incorporation of the Carlisle Operating System at all five manufacturing operations. Carlisle Industrial Brake & Friction world headquarters are located in Bloomington, Indiana, with additional locations at Logansport, Indiana; Zevenaar, The Netherlands; Pontypool, Wales; and Hangzhou, China.
Carlisle Industrial Brake & Friction designs and manufactures complete braking systems that provide the stopping power their customers demand.
