Specialty lubricants will be on display at CanWEA 2008, October 19-22 in Vancouver
Londonderry, NH - (October 17, 2008) - Kluber Lubrication, a worldwide manufacturer of specialty lubricants, will showcase three innovative, specialty lubricants for the wind power industry at the CanWEA 2008 trade show October 19-22 in Vancouver, BC. The lubricants are Kluberplex® BEM 41-141, Kluberplex® AG 11-462 and Klubersynth® GEM 4-320.
Kluberplex BEM 41-141 is an excellent lubricant with a special base oil mixture and a package of additives to cover the differentiated requirements of the individual bearing lubrication points in wind power stations. Kluberplex BEM 41-141 is ideal for highly stressed rolling and plain bearings, and specifically designed for pitch and azimuth bearings (high stresses, oscillations, vibrations), main bearings (low rpms, high stresses, vibrations), and generator bearings (high rpms and temperatures).
Developed as a priming lubricant, Kluberplex AG 11-462 is ideal for large open-girth gear drives and serves as a contrast lubricant for checking the drive's load pattern. Among its many benefits, Kluberplex AG 11-462 offers high load resistance and adhesion as well as superior corrosion protection. In addition, it has the great benefit of being a white solid lubricant.
Klubersynth GEM 4-320 lubricates spur, bevel and worm gears as well as rolling and plain bearings subject to high temperatures and/or frequently alternating service temperatures. Klubersynth GEM 4 saves energy, has a long service life, is miscible with mineral oil, has excellent low-temperature properties, offers good wear protection, has a high scuffing load capacity and provides low-foam generation.
