Philadelphia, PA (January 17, 2011) - Kingsbury's repair and service facility in Yuba City, CA, which opened in 2007 to service the fluid film bearing market in the Western United States and Canada, is now available to provide inspections and repairs of ball and roller bearings for our Western customers.
The Yuba City facility will give rolling element bearing users in the region access to Messinger's expertise in repairing or retrofitting large diameter custom bearings of virtually any type and brand. The depot will be particularly useful for companies using bearings in harsh conditions, such as tunnel boring, steelmaking, debarking, rock crushing, and pulp and paper to name a few. The Yuba City facility provides a convenient location for inspections and repairs of the majority of large bearings, up to 8 feet in diameter. Larger sizes will still be handled by the Philadelphia plant, which can repair all sizes from 2 inches to 25 feet. Messinger's field technicians are also available to inspect bearings at the customers' locations in the region.
