ROSWELL, Ga. (February 27, 2008) - Kimberly-Clark Professional has re-introduced its Sterling Nitrile Gloves with a new name and innovative packaging that provides 50 percent more gloves in each box, helping to increase storage space by 33 percent and reduce waste by 39 percent (by weight).
Now called Kimtech Science Sterling Nitrile Gloves, the latex-free gloves provide the chemical barrier protection of nitrile and the sensitivity of latex, along with enhanced environmental benefits for laboratories and other scientific industry users.
"With Kimtech Science Sterling Nitrile Gloves, lab workers get three benefits in one glove: the protection of nitrile, the sensitivity of latex and an environmentally friendly product," explains Alvin Chapital, market segment manager, Kimberly-Clark Professional, who points to an online Space & Waste calculator that helps users calculate their exact savings. In addition to their environmental advantages, Kimtech Science Sterling Nitrile Gloves eliminate employee exposure to latex, helping to reduce employee lost- time and employer health costs. At the same time, they provide good resistance against a wide range of lab chemicals.
The additional gloves in each box can also help labs stockpile the gloves for emergency use.
The gloves are 3.5 mils thick, and their tactile sensitivity allows wearers to easily handle delicate instruments. They are available in extra small through extra-large sizes.
