Press release date: October 8, 2009

Keystone Precision & Engineering, Inc. (KPE), northern Massachusetts' leader in precision machined components today announced that the company has done well during the most recent economic down turn, with increased sales, new customers, and improved process and measurement capabilities.

KPE increased its capability in machining by successfully executing a number of projects that required machining of super alloys and final mechanical assembly. KPE's process development team has developed the required knowledge to ensure excellent process capability to design requirements and predictability against budgets. KPE now has a dedicated assembly and cleanroom space for customer's assembly requirements. KPE has also integrated its CCM measurement capability into its quality system and work flow, allowing for more precise set-up and product realization. We have also increased our CNC milling and CNC lathe capacity by 20% in the last year.

KPE services industries that require the utmost attention to extreme mechanical tolerances and quality. While adding these new capabilities, we still specialize in small to medium volume precision machining, including prototype and product realization assistance. With these operational and business improvements, Keystone continues to build a foundation for controlled growth in the years to come.
