(MAY 2006) - A new 40-page, full-color Fittings Manual published by Kee Industrial Products, Inc., Buffalo, New York provides up-to-date, comprehensive information on the company's complete line of Kee Klamp slip-on pipe fittings. Designed for a wide range of railing and structural pipe applications, Kee Klamp fittings are a cost-effective and labor-saving alternative to welded railings, the company states.
The new Fittings Manual features photographs, model numbers, dimensional drawings, and complete specifications for more than 70 Kee Klamp fitting styles and several accessories, plus a broad assortment of application photography. Constructed of cast-iron for strength and durability, Kee Klamp fittings are galvanized for corrosion resistance and produced in a range of standard sizes to suit 1/2" to 2" Schedule 40 steel pipe. According to Kee Industrial, Kee Klamp fittings are designed for indoor or outdoor use to build industrial, commercial, institutional, and residential railings, safety barriers, mezzanines, guardrails, retail and display fixtures, shelving, racks, tables, fences, playground equipment, greenhouses, awnings and canopies, and other pipe-fitted structures.
The company states that the new literature provides assembly and installation instructions, including a section on building compliant railings for the Standard Building Code, BOCAŽ National Building Code, and OSHA Standard Pipe Railing (to meet 1910.23). Architectural-engineering specifications and ratings for racking load tables are also provided. A section on fitting alternatives shows how different fitting combinations can be used to achieve the same effect.
