Kathabar Dehumidification Systems Inc.
1 Executive Dr., Suite 410
Somerset, NJ, 08873
USA

Press release date: October 14, 2009

(Buffalo, NY) Kathabar Dehumidification Systems offers Twin-Cel, a liquid desiccant building energy reduction system which utilizes energy previously lost to the environment.

Twin-Cel, a total energy device, transfers both temperature and moisture between the airstreams and allows for greater energy savings than the recovery of sensible heat only. These systems reduce the utilities required to condition outside air for a building. By preconditioning the ventilation air entering a building with the available energy in the exhaust air leaving the building, these systems reduce heating/cooling and humidifying/dehumidifying energy usage with the added potential of lowering installed equipment costs.

Outside air and exhaust air are handled in separate units connected only with piping, assuring that no microbiological cross-contamination can occur.Twin-Cel systems improve indoor air quality by scrubbing airborne bacteria, viruses, and mold from the ventilation air. Best suited for handling fairly large airflows, up to 108,000 CFM can be handled by a single factory-assembled Twin-Cel system.
