Kaman Industrial Technologies Announces Promotions


WINDSOR, Connecticut (July 6, 2007) - Kaman Industrial Technologies today announced the promotion of Mark C. Chmielecki to director, compensation & benefits, reporting to Robert F. Goff, vice president, human resources and James G. Sage to director, corporate purchasing, reporting to Michael J. Pastore, vice president, purchasing.

Chmielecki previously was manager, compensation & benefits when he joined Kaman in 1999. In his new position, he will oversee the company's compensation, benefits administration, employee services and HRIS functions. Before joining Kaman he was director, compensation, with United Distillers and Vinters in Hartford, Conn. and a programmer/analyst with The Travelers Insurance Company.

Chmielecki graduated from Iona College with a bachelor's degree in mathematics and earned an MBA from The University of Connecticut. He and his wife reside in Vernon, Conn.

Sage previously was manager of corporate purchasing when he joined Kaman in 2006. In his new position, he will be leading the company's purchasing services and distribution center inventory management process. Before joining Kaman he was a senior supply chain executive at Fafnir Bearings Company, The Torrington Company and Timken Company in Torrington, Conn.

Sage graduated from Purdue University with a bachelor's degree in mathematics and earned an MBA from The University of Hartford. He and his wife reside in Avon, Conn.
