Here at KS Tooling, we design, build and condition high-speed progressive dies, and manufacture stampings and assemblies. For the type of work we do, being ISO-certified is a minimum industry requirement. But we're not about the minimum. Our customers demand the very best, and so we strive to be the very best, which is why we're not just ISO-certified, but "Technical Specification" TS 16949:2009 certified as well.
The TS 16949:2009 certification is recognized internationally by major automotive manufacturers as well as the International Automotive Task Force (IATF). The quality burden placed on products going into vehicles far exceeds that of commercial products; automotive manufacturers require an incredible level of quality. We work with OEM manufacturers across an increasingly broad spectrum of industries. The TS 16949:2009 certification is the highest certification there is for the type of work we do. Even though it's an automotive certification, the benefits are reaped by all of our clients.
We continue to borrow from the Advanced Planning Quality Procedure (APQP) core tools to implement those fundamental procedures which add value across all products produced.
