International plastics trade shows will offer on-the-spot dialogue with customers
TPE manufacturer KRAIBURG TPE will be present at leading industry trade shows in USA and Asia. The focus of the company's booth at NPE, taking place this April in Orlando, Florida will be on ground breaking 'Innovations'. In the same month, KRAIBURG TPE will also be appearing at Chinaplas in Shanghai, China where they will emphasize on their 'Leading in Performance and Quality'.
Waldkraiburg, Germany - Whether it is for applications in the consumer, medical, industrial or automotive sector: at the trade shows in Shanghai and Orlando plastics processers will be able to discuss their individual elastic compound requirements with the KRAIBURG TPE specialists and gain an overview of the available product range.
Innovations at NPE 2012
From 1-5 April 2012 KRAIBURG TPE will be exhibiting at Booth 61027 at the International Plastics Showcase NPE 2012 in Orlando, Florida. Highlights of the trade show presentation will be new products such as THERMOLAST® W, OBC compounds and Polar Alloys. Wet Grip technology, marketed under the trade name THERMOLAST® W, produces TPE materials with optimum grip - even in the presence of moisture - for a range of consumer, industrial and medical applications. KRAIBURG TPE's OBC blends offer outstanding mechanical performance together with enhanced flow, hand oil and chemical resistance with improved adhesion to engineering thermoplastics (ETPs) i.e. glass filled nylon for use in electronic devices. Newly introduced Polar Alloy blends are an important development in the area of haptics with increased abrasion resistance, minimal creep, and ease of colouring versus silicone and volcanizate blends. Their improved haptics result in a silky, non-stick, smooth surface and they have significantly higher overmoulding bond strength to (ETPs).
Chinaplas Asia: Leading in Performance and Quality
This is the slogan used by KRAIBURG TPE at Chinaplas 2012 in Hall N1, Booth S01. Visitors will be invited to take a closer look at the new products such as the drinking water series and a wide range of adhesion compounds. KRAIBURG TPE´s thermoplastic elastomers offer optimal adhesion properties on materials such as PA (nylon), ABS or ABS/PC and ensure excellent elastic recovery. Additionally, through the application of TPE manufacturers benefit not only from improved production conditions for injection moulding, but also from an extended complex functionality - even at extreme heat or low temperatures.
Furthermore, the application of a time- and money-saving multi-component process ensures simplified logistics as well as safe and more hygienic products compared to assembly processes. The new DW compounds (drinking water series) are to be exhibited in Asia for the first time. Their special formulation means that they satisfy the most important European drinking water standards. Due to their smooth, dirt- and limescale-repellent surface TPEs are suitable for use particularly in the sanitary and drinking water sector.
