KOM International's Dan Goodwill Now Directs Transportation Services
MONTREAL, Quebec, Canada, December 7, 2006 - KOM International Inc., a global leader in supply chain consulting, announced today the appointment of Mr. Dan Goodwill as the company's Project Director - Transportation. In his new role Mr. Goodwill is responsible for the firm's North American Transportation Services projects.
Stationed in Toronto Dan Goodwill is an experienced leader and consultant, who has held several executive level positions in industry including President of Yellow Transportation's Canada division, President of Clarke Logistics (Canada's largest Intermodal Marketing Company), General Manager of the Railfast division of TNT Canada and VP of Sales and Marketing for TNT Overland Express.
Dan's transportation service focus is on helping shippers to more effectively manage their freight transportation and in helping trucking companies and third party logistics companies build their businesses. As part of his consulting activities, Dan has worked with clients in Canada, the United States and Mexico on freight bids and has helped his clients reduce their freight costs by millions of dollars.
Dan is also a leader and team builder with a successful track record in profit development, business startups, acquisitions, turnarounds, and cost saving programs and in building businesses through organic growth. He also has extensive sales and marketing executive experience in the transportation industry having led teams in the development and successful implementation of sales and marketing strategies. He brings practical business experience, a probing, creative mind and a dedication to serving his clients to produce superior results.
