AUBURN HILLS, Mich. Sept.16, 2007 - KMT Robotic Solutions Inc. Vice President of Finance Bob Offer announced the appointment of Corey Pierce to the position of Controller. As Controller, Pierce will provide financial support and guidance in the management of daily operations for KMT Robotic Solutions. His core responsibilities include general accounting and finance, financial reporting and analysis, inventory control, cash management, credit and collections, audit, and compliance.
"Corey's past corporate finance and operations experience in manufacturing is a great asset to the KMT Robotic Solutions team," Offer said. "We feel that Corey's addition will help us to better serve our customers."
Prior to joining KMT Robotic Solutions, Pierce held the position of Controller at Jatco USA, Inc. located in Wixom, Mich. Jatco USA, Inc. is a wholly owned subsidiary of Jatco Ltd., a $4.0 billion global manufacturer of automotive transmissions based in Fuji City, Japan. Pierce has worked in the automotive manufacturing sector since 1996 for DaimlerChrysler/Detroit Diesel Corporation (Redford, Mich.), Kraft Automotive Group (Howell, Mich.), and Associated Spring/Barnes Group (Saline, Mich.). Along with his finance and accounting background, Pierce also has operations experience from Detroit Diesel Corporation and Detroit Body Products Inc. where he worked as a manufacturing supervisor and operations manager. Pierce has a BBA in Accounting from Western Michigan University and a Master's of Science in Finance from Walsh College.
