GARDEN GROVE, Calif., April 3 / -- KDS, a prominent provider of affordable, high-quality monitors, has signed an exclusive distribution agreement with leading computer components distributor ASI Corporation. The agreement makes the entire line of KDS LCD and CRT monitors exclusively available through the ASI sales network in the U.S. and Canada and Latin America. The agreement is effective April 3, 2006.

Mr. Ycaza added, "We greatly anticipate successful results stemming from consistent availability and excellent pricing ASI will be offering to resellers that want to buy KDS monitors."
"The KDS brand is celebrating its 10 year anniversary with a new strategy, exclusive distribution through ASI," remarked Erin Rippee, KDS Vice President of Marketing. "Utilizing ASI as our exclusive distributor will allow resellers to purchase KDS monitors where our efforts are focused, and can provide them with the best display solution," added Mr. Rippee.
The ultra-thin K Series LCD monitors, include models 15" K5b, 17" K72b, and 19" wide K9bw. All K Series LCD monitors are housed in stylish black cabinets that contain the latest in LCD technology featuring: 8ms response time, 500:1 contrast ratio and a resolution of 1280x1024. K Series monitors will save precious desktop space and save money by conserving energy.
The contemporary Xtreme Flat CRT monitors provide users with an affordable computer display for both business and home usage. The line includes three models: XF-7bg, XF-7bl, and XF-7x. Each model has a 17" (16"VIS) flat picture tube that offers straighter lines, and greatly reduced glare, making it easier on the eyes. Each support resolutions up to 1280 x 1024, have a .25mm dot pitch and are PC and MAC compatible.
All KDS products sold by ASI will be covered by the KDS KARES advanced replacement service. The KARES service provides advanced product replacement, before the defect unit is returned to KDS. The KARES program is offered for the first 45 days of purchase and dramatically reduces the user's system downtime.
