MG Systems & Welding is pleased to announce the promotion of Product Manager Joerg Toberna to the position of Marketing Manager. In this new position, Toberna will be overseeing the personnel in product management and marketing.
Toberna started at MG Systems 27 years ago while still in high school. He worked in the shop building plasma and oxyfuel burning machines. As Toberna gained more experience, he took on different positions in the shop. Toberna was appointed to the position of Product Manager only three years ago. He managed the Precision line, which includes the MetalMaster Plus and the MPC.
Toberna will be taking over the duties of marketing and project management from Ron Schneider in September. Schneider was promoted to a new position as Vice President of Global Project Management. He will be working for the whole Messer group of international companies.
MG Systems and Welding, Inc. is known as the premier manufacturer of thermal cutting gantry machines. The machines use advanced plasma and oxyfuel cutting tools to cut shapes from metals. A full range of equipment is provided by MG Systems, with sales and service offices and dealers/distributors located throughout North America. All machines are assembled in the Menomonee Falls, WI plant.
