Joe Fitzgerald Joins Novatec as Vice President In Charge of Extrusion Market and International Development


BALTIMORE, MD, U.S.A., January 9, 2007: NOVATEC, Inc. has appointed Joe Fitzgerald to be Vice President for Extrusion and International Development, the company announced today.

"Joe brings a multilingual, international background that makes him well suited for spearheading the NOVATEC program of expansion into markets outside the Americas," said Conrad M. Bessemer, President and CEO. "At the same time, his 20 years of management and sales experience with plastics auxiliary equipment enables him to provide expert supervision of our service to customers in the crucial extrusion market."

Born in England, Joe Fitzgerald moved to Ireland in the early 1980s and entered the plastics industry in 1987 upon immigrating to the United States. He served in various positions with AEC Inc., then worked for both AEC and Sterling Inc. as a field sales representative. During his career he has also been active in the Society of Plastics Engineers, including serving two terms as president of the Chicago Section.

He holds a degree in French from Luton University in England. He also speaks German and Spanish.
