Press release date: March 26, 2009

Farmington Hills, Mich. (March 26, 2009) - Jervis B. Webb Company - a subsidiary of Daifuku Co., Ltd., and leading provider of innovative material handling solutions - today announced a contract worth approximately $16 million dollars with Dallas-Fort Worth International Airport (DFW) to install a new automated in-line baggage handling system.

The new system will automate the entire baggage screening process in Terminal A by relocating the existing baggage screening systems from the ticket lobby to areas in the lower level of the existing terminal building. The new system includes seven Explosive Detection System (EDS) machines, two new transfer lines and an upgrade to the existing baggage handling controls system.

The project calls for a phased demolition of existing equipment and the use of temporary tie-in conveyors, allowing the airport to maintain operations during implementation of the project. Project completion is slated for April 2010.

"We're pleased that Dallas-Fort Worth International Airport awarded Webb Airport Systems to provide the new automated in-line baggage handling system for Terminal A," said Kenneth Hamel, Vice President of Webb Airport Systems. "Webb Airport Systems takes pride in being a leader that meets the demands of today's security requirements and improves baggage handling processes for airports all over the world."
